In the temperate rainforests of the northwestern United States, giant trees stand obscured and then revealed by swirling fog.
AUTHOR
I come to photography initially through my love of animals. Quietly watching as their lives unfold. But that leads to seeing through a lens - isolating or including depending on the desired scene. And then I started to see, well everything... all the great vistas and the tiny small things; the incredible light and the very dark places.
To capture them is a constant learning process. Photography fully occupies my mind - uses the right brain and the left, seeing and figuring out how to get it into the camera. And not always doing it, but trying over and over again. I will never capture everything I want to, but I am certainly going to try.
