ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Guan Jiang Shou (Lead Generals) are stern and inaccessible religious characters with many mysterious taboos in traditional Taoism in Taiwan. Combining them with a feminine nude in my photography work doesn’t mean something subverting the traditions or breaking taboos. Two conflicting elements of different eras represent emotional entanglements of the last and preceding lives and illustrate aesthetic sense of conflicts.
