ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Sofia is a premature baby born in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Sainte-Justine’s Hospital. The CHU Sainte-Justine’s NICU is the largest neonatal care facility in Canada. It has a capacity of 65 beds and treats 1 100 patients each year. It's one of the rare occasion where cameras are allowed in the delivery room.
