AUTHOR
Photographer. I used to think a photographer’s job was to photograph weddings and products. How happy I am that I have learned these are not the only roles a photographer can have. I have found something which gives me not only a platform to communicate with others, but to reach an audience with emotions, with intimacy and honesty.
The realization that I can do more with photography has changed my life. Being pushed out of my comfort zone has made me realize that I can be creative with photography. I can use photography to tell stories. Here lies my greatest victory thus far. I have learned that photographs, simple or complex, can stir up emotions, bring back memories, spark fantasy and give a voice to what is never unspoken of. Being able to achieve this through photography has now become my fuel, my motivation to work. Of course, there is much that I must still learn. But not knowing how to do something is no longer a barrier for me. It is just a problem that needs a solution. It just takes time, patience, experimentation and if needed, an outsider’s opinion.
