ENTRY DESCRIPTION
My 9 year old daughter, Roan, darted into the backyard as soon as the 10 minute afternoon break began. She had been on Zooms since 9am and for an energy boost gave herself a blast of cold hose water, right to the face! To me this encapsulates our topsy-turvy 2020.

AUTHOR
I am an amateur photographer living in Los Angeles, CA. I started taking pictures of kids when I was a kid myself, with my beloved Kodak Disc camera. I still take pictures of kids even though I've long become a grown-up. My camera may have changed but the goal of capturing magical moments hasn't. I love all of the absurd, whimsical, earnest, heartwarming and heartbreaking aspects of our wild and precious lives.
