ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The photo was taken in 1975 at the Arizona State Fair. This couple just stepped out of the trailer behind them after they just had their portrait taken. I thought, these two were made for each other. They were very sweet.

I've been enjoying photography for the past 40 years. Diane Arbus, W. Eugene Smith, and Mary Ellen Mark are just a few great photographers that had a profound influence over me. I love shooting people. I make sure they know that I'm taking their photo which means I talk to them. With the few moments I have, I shoot one to two frames and off they go. I was taught old school to shoot full frame and don't crop except within the viewfinder.
