ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I mainly work on portraits of women, I like to play with motion blur to give them a more subjective aspect, here is a picture taken with a model at my home at the end of 2019.
AUTHOR
French photographer Laurent Castellani, based in Nantes, France, captures the light to sublimate the raw beauty. His minimalist, cinematographic-looking clichés evoke ever more bewitching stories in a dreamlike narrative. This signature sensibility is the fruit of an evil he's still taming: agoraphobia.
"I photograph everything around my house, never further, never too far away." - Laurent Castellani
This evil that has been with him for more than fifteen years has become an inexhaustible source of inspirations. Fear of wide open spaces and enclosed spaces, vertigo, an irrepressible need for go home. All this anxiety, oppressive at first glance, has on the contrary freed the photographer in the expression of his art.
