Everything is in constant movement. Humans make decisions on going left instead of right, pushing harder instead of letting go, therefore unpredictable moments are created every second of the day. As a photographer it is our duty to try to capture those moments - moments that would normally be unseen.
It's a busy day at the Venice Skate Park in Los Angeles California. Skaters are moving quickly to get a chance to drop in the bowl to give it another try to perform a trick and get cheered on by the audience.
I lower to the ground, following a skater that looks like he has a good chance on landing a trick. In the exact moment, when I release the shutter, another skater
pushes hard with his left foot off the ground to gain more speed. He moves right between my lens and the object.
This image represents perfectly the busy, unpredictable life in Venice. Skating comes first - always.
If the shutter would not have been released, the double movement would have never been noticed.
