ENTRY DESCRIPTION
November nights here up in the north are pitch black. This creates unique opportunities for combining night and street photography. Street lights provide the architecture and only shadows of people represents the street life. For these occasions, you need a bit of special tools. I used a 1960’s Hasselblad Super Wide camera and Ilford Delta 3200 grainy and punchy black and white film that I pushed all the way to ISO 12500. This allows me to shoot handheld in darkness and capture the true essence of grainy November.
