ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This picture tries to frame the moment when, in the closed system of subject and photographer, a third element enters, creating an interference and changing the meaning of the whole picture. Some pictures are "ruined" by an element of disturbance, as if, in a certain way, they were spoilt by a mistake. This mistake is what really interests me, because the photographer, as creator of images, usually hates the unpredictable and longs to control every detail of a photo. However I find more interesting what shirks and haunts a photographer and his photo, so I let elements from real life enter my photos: people stretching arms in front of the lens, hoovering a religious place or simply passing by. These interferences take the form of shadows, thickening of darkness and blurred faces, that is, everything that couldn’t disturb a photographer more.
