ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The mighty yet inoffensive grey nurse shark can be encountered in several sites along the East Coast of Australia. While this species hunts at night, during the day it is observed swimming in sheltered waters, slowly and half sleeping. While most photographs of these animals are taken with a wide angle lens, I decided to use a macro lens for a more impactful portrait. It took two days of diving and carefully positioning myself, so that i could get the symmetrical shot which I was after.
