ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This photo was taken in July 2020 at Bushy Park, Surrey, UK. My husband’s friend lives a short walk from Bushy park, it was a lovely sunny day so me and my husband went for a walk round there with him & his 2 year old daughter. There was a single male deer walking along, after a while and with me tracking it, the deer stopped at some trees. As it did, I could see more antlers through the long grass. I walked around the other side of the grass and as I did so there was a whole group of male deer in full view sitting on the ground. There were about 20 altogether, this was one of my favourite shots taken of a cluster of about 10 of them. It was more a gathering of bucks than any perhaps any main stag being around. However, I’ve given myself artistic verbal license with the title due to the subject matter & the array of antlers, and because I literally was staggered when I saw a whole group sat together, which personally I’ve never seen before !
