ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I was commissioned to produce photographic artworks for a hotel, based on the Japanese art of sumi-e, the monochromatic ink drawing technique.
I hit upon the idea of using fire as my study material, and took thousands of photographs over several mildly dangerous sessions.
