Gum Bichromate is a technique conceived around 1855 and very popular in the decades between the 1800s and the 1900s. For its innumerable interpreative and creative possibilities, it was widely used by pictorial photographers of that time.

Anna Melnikava is a photographer and artist from Belarus.
Born on June 14, 1986, in Minsk, in Belarus. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Minsk and holds a professorship in Graphic Design and Photography at the same institute.
Since 2018 she has been appointed Head of the Department of Graphic Design and Photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Minsk.
She obtained a master's degree in Art history and attended a post-graduate course at the Academy of Fine Arts in the direction of design and technical esthetics. In 2015 she obtained the scientific qualification of "Researcher" in the field of art.
As a photographer, she works in street photography and artphotography using alternative photographic processes. The main activity is focused on gum bichromate processe and cyanotype .
Since 2012 he has participated in numerous exhibitions in Belarus and abroad.
She is a member of the "Belarusian Union of Designers" and the "Belarusian Union of artists ". Since 2018 Associated at the Rodolfo Namias Group (GRN), Italy .
