ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The structure is on the Oregon side of the Columbia river near Astoria.
Even some locals I asked couldn't tell me what the purpose of the structure was or which bigger structure is used to be part of.
A long exposure of 51 sec. made it stand out against the water and also gave the foam on the water surrounding the structure an icy feel and look.
The photograph had been taken on Nov 29, 2017.
