Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2020 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Fascinated by an isolated group of dead oaks in the middle of the forest in Stroe (The Netherlands) I decided to make it a special photo project. What I needed was two flashlights and... fog... I had to wait for almost one year. Finally the day came! That particular morning there was a thick fog that lasted for hours, so that was great! I put one flashlight on the left side and one on the right side of this tree landscape. The trees have lost much bark, so much of the light coloured wood was being exposed. The final result was a mysterious little landscape with spooky winding trees and even a beautiful spider web to complete it!
