ENTRY DESCRIPTION
In August 2019, Lola stopped receiving the Minimum Insertion Income (REMI) from the Community of Madrid On June 15, she sent the documentation and on the 26th of that same month they contacted her to tell her that she had to complete it correctly. more comprehensively. She spent almost two months without receiving any news, until on August 17 someone helped her check the status of her application: denied. The reason is that she had registered four years ago in a shared apartment whose members do have income. She lost one of her fundamental rights, the right to housing, and took a step into a deep and dark mental place from which she does not know how to get out. At 60, Lola has faced three cancers and a stroke, but her physical and mental strength received a severe blow after being on the street waiting for the Minimum Vital Income (IMV).
