ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Taken at a photography conference at the Hotel Pennsylvania in NYC in February 2020. This guy was so cool and relaxed and I liked his energy and his outfit so I asked if I could take his portrait. He wanted to test out these LED lights that he had hanging above him and I shot a few pics and this one stood out the most for me.

AUTHOR
Mike was born in Dundee, Scotland in the UK and was raised in a military household. He lived in Puerto Rico as a kid and spent most of his life between Alexandria, VA and New York City. At his core, Mike is an artist. Starting out as an illustrator first, Mike fell in love with the creative process. He went onto studying graphic design in college and got introduced to photography from there. Mike began taking pictures as a hobby at first but before he knew it, he realized that photography was his true passion. So in 2006, Mike decided to make it a full time thing and never looked back. Within a short amount of time, Mike has earned the respects of artist, photographers, businessmen, and celebrities alike. Mike sees photography as a natural extension of his passion for the arts and most importantly, life.
