ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I captured this image in the Raval neighbourhood of Barcelona. There was something about this man's face that I found interesting. He looked like he had been through hardships in his life, and he was kind enough to hold his pose for a few seconds while I composed my shot. I thought that the men around him that were chatting outside with their friends added context to the scene and framed him well.

Photography and travel began at a young age for me, and is now over 30 years since I have been combining the two. I am very fortunate to be able to combine my work with my passion, and have seen amazing places, had memorable experiences and met some wonderful people along the way. All the while searching for the opportunity to capture that special image on each trip.
Photography has truly enriched my life.
