Wildlife: Honorable Mention 2020 (professional)
Getting Closer by Ben Bunting (United States)
AUTHOR
Hi, my name Ben Bunting, I'm a wildlife photographer from New Hope, Pennsylvania. I first started photography in grade 7 but didn’t start taking it seriously till grade 11. Where I worked alongside National Geographic to capture these wildlife shots. I started focusing on wildlife photography since I realized the impact you can create with photos. Right now I’m in college studying for a graduate degree in Zoology so I can go on and help out more wildlife. The reason I choose these African animals is they each show their own emotions through the photo. In my photography, I try showing the animals' emotions or reactions. Doing this can build me a more connected feeling to the viewer and artist. I also try to draw attention to what makes each species unique and their character traits.
