ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This is an aerial shot from a helicopter in South Iceland. Glacial river flow creates these incredible and unique patterns as it travels over lava rocks and volcanic ash towards the sea. The more you look at these patterns, the more you seem to see faces, eyes and twisted shapes.

AUTHOR
I am a landscape photographer living in Adelaide in South Australia. Since retiring a few years ago from full-time work, my interest in photography has moved from aspiring amateur to something a little more serious. While landscapes are my main focus I have an increasing interest in travel, architecture, portrait, macro and wildlife photography.
