Forever in love with image making, Greg Hatton is a cameraman with the self-admitted purpose of creating meaningful images that offer perspective and communicate the realities of life to viewers across the globe.

A native to Los Angeles (now based between Los Angeles and Kaneohe, Hawaii) Greg is a self taught cinematographer and photographer who followed his passion into Hollywood where he continues to work with and learn from some of the industry greats such as Johnny Simmons, ASC, Gill Hubbs, ASC and renowned photographers Frank Jackson and Douglas Kirkland.

Greg’s work has been heavily influenced by cinema, as well as by photographers Gordon Parks, Roy DeCarava, Frank Jackson, William Klein and Abbas. He is inspired by the beauty and rawness of reality. Shots from everyday life appear as if they are staged, as he creates a unique blend of photo-journalism with a cinematic eye
