AUTHOR
"I am an observer and a wanderer, who likes to explore the city and village streets, narrow lanes, and unknown paths, mostly without anything specific in mind. My aim is to find something interesting in an ordinary place. I shoot whatever catches my attention. It has less to do with how things look, but much more with the way I see them".
An award winning and published photographer, Anna Wacker had lived in Australia and Greece before settling in her adopted home, Hamburg. These diverse cultural influences are reflected in her photographs.
Seeing the world with different eyes, staging everyday things in an extraordinary way, makes her work special. The palette varies from colourful impressions to expressive black and white photographs.
