ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This photo was taken at the Beijing Coking Plant, which was built in 1959 and abandoned in 2000. Twenty years ago, coal mines were scattered on the ground of coal dropping towers in the plant area. The paint on the dense and towering concrete columns was oxidized and peeled off, and the "red" slogan originally written on the columns was covered with white paint. The coking plant, which has been the "heart of Beijing" for 40 years, was abandoned. Now, it is quietly located in the suburbs of Beijing, silently witnessing the development of Beijing and China
