ENTRY DESCRIPTION
A Docklands Light Railway train travelling from West Silvertown to Canning Town in East London, UK.

It is a industrial area that is being developed for modern high rise living.

To make it a minimalist image, I black out/erased the surrounding area to show just the train and lines on which it travelled through the picture.

Taken from a moving cable car.

AUTHOR
I have been interested and practising photography from the age of around 15. In another life I spent time as a professional dark room manager.

My life changed dramatically when serious illness, which included major construction of a new stomach.
The route back to a near normal life was to devote myself to a deeper study and interest in photography.

Many things inspire me to take photos; music, books and the thought of being back in hospital where even walking can not be taken for granted.

I can no longer use or handle heavy cameras with long lens because of the weakness in my arms, so I use a smaller camera enabling to shoot with ease in variety of situations.

I strive for simple dynamic powerful pictures.
