Conceptual: Honorable Mention 2021 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This photo depicts the emotional struggle I went through during a crisis of faith in Catholicism. The open door beckons me to enter, but my inability to believe keeps me from entering. I'm kept at a distance by my internal struggle.
AUTHOR
I am an art photographer living in George Eastman's home town of Rochester New York. I started shooting black and white as part of the Oakland University (Rochester Michigan) camera club in the 1970's, and that set my path for the majority of my life to see the world in black and white.
