ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I am currently working on a series of photos entitled “Closer to Earth than Heaven”. From the moment we are born, with the first breath, we are consecrated to the inevitable. From then on, it is only a matter of time before we close the cycle of life. This photo series deals philosophically and lyrically with expectations and hopes that are connected with it. The subject requires careful and attentive work. For this reason I decided to go back to my old Hasselblad 501 CM and the analog process. Some of the images are iconic and reveal themselves through our cultural background. Nevertheless, they give the viewer enough leeway for their own feelings and interpretations.
