Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2021 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Whilst walking on Dartmoor I saw this lovely copse of trees from a distance and just had to continue until I found a good viewpoint. It was taken in January 2021 and I used Infrared. I like infrared in the winter as it gives good contrast on the skeletal trees without the distraction of white leaves. The grass however appears white so believable as snow or frost in winter conditions. At first I was concerned about the dead broken tree but then after some thought decided it actually added more interest.
