AUTHOR
Jocelyn (b. 1985) is an Albuquerque-based professional photographer with two decades of experience capturing the beauty of the world around her. Her passion for photography ignited in high school (2000), when she took her first photography class, acquired her first SLR camera, and learned to develop film. This early experience led to her work being featured in the Albuquerque Museum’s 2003 Focus on Youth exhibit, where she won second place in the photo journal category. Her photo journal—a collection of landscapes and images of everyday objects such as street signs and colored pencils—documented her high school years.
In 2005 and 2006, her photographs of Cochiti Lake and a petroglyph, respectively, were exhibited at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science. More recently, she received an Honorable Mention at both the 2021 New Mexico State Fair and the 2021 Monochrome Photography Awards for a photograph taken at White Sands National Park. In 2022, Jocelyn joined a nationwide company as a photographer and had three photographs displayed at the New Mexico State Fair.
Her work continued to be featured at the New Mexico State Fair in 2023, 2024, and 2025, where she earned second- and third-place awards, and at the New Mexico Art League Black & White Exhibit in 2023 and 2025. Jocelyn’s goal is to inspire others to appreciate the world and its many wonders through her photography.
