ENTRY DESCRIPTION
My current project is called "Essence of Me" and consists of a series (nos. 3, 5, 6 and 7_1) and some independent single photographs. In the series, the core of my essence existing at the time of shooting is gradually peeled out: the light on special parts of the subject that magically attracted me. The single photographs express the energy felt between the subject and me. The mystical and electrifying power of the light on individual spots in all the photographs contrasts strongly with less substantial areas of light. The contrasting totality of the light in each photograph is pure energy that constantly captures me when I take and look at the photograph.

AUTHOR
I am an enthusiastic landscape photographer with focus on alpine motifs. My photography should express my interaction with the subject felt at the decisive moment. It is in each case this one feeling that presses the shutter release. Thus the actual motive is not the main statement in the picture. With post-processing, I emphasize the pictorial expression of the feelings and often reduce everything else. This creates dramatic, energetic, mystical and emotional photographs that have a powerful effect.
