Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2021 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The Colibri is one of thousands of geoglyphes in the peruvian desert near Nazca. They best can be seen from above.
Experienced in aerial photography, I manage to get this shot of the extralarge bird out of the tiny window of a 8pl-Cessna at an inclination of minimum 45°. Though it's a tourist thing, it's a pic of a lifetime for me.
AUTHOR
I am passionate hobby photographer. Recently, I switched from a Canon 7D to the Canon 90D. My camera accompanies me as well as around half the world or on a hiking trip around the corner.
I try to capture the world around me from another, unusual perspective. Dunring daytime, I prefer landscapes and started black and white more intensively this year only. The night sky is fascinating here where I live, having low light pollution allows to capture great parts of the sky.
I am mother of two boys (2017 and 2020). The four of us live in a 200Y old chalet in the middle of the Alps. Besides my fulltime job at a pharmaceutical company, the photography allows me to free my head and focus on creativity.
