Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2021 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The Colibri is one of thousands of geoglyphes in the peruvian desert near Nazca. They best can be seen from above.
Experienced in aerial photography, I manage to get this shot of the extralarge bird out of the tiny window of a 8pl-Cessna at an inclination of minimum 45°. Though it's a tourist thing, it's a pic of a lifetime for me.
AUTHOR
I am passionate amateur photographer working with Canon 90D and mainly prime lenses. Dunring daytime, I prefer landscapes, at night, I go for milky way and like to do startrails. I started black and white more intensively only three years back.
I live with my family in a 200years old chalet in the middle of the Swiss Alps. Besides my job at a pharmaceutical company, the photography allows me to free up my mind.
