ENTRY DESCRIPTION
A few days after the last snowfall, I set off for the mountains. The clear, cold nights after the snowfall are the best conditions for small ice crystals to form on the surface, which shine like a carpet of diamonds in the sunshine. The snowy hill above the timberline presented itself under a cloudless sky. Shortly before noon, the sun conjured soft contrasts in the snow.
