ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Photograph taken in September 2021 during an expedition to the snowy Santa Isabel, a glacier that is dying and the next to disappear in Colombia, in a maximum period of 4 years the glacier will be lost, exposing the rocks covered with the little snow and leaving a Distinct landscape.
I wanted to portray these rocks in the middle of the central glacier of the volcano, since they stand out in the middle of the little ice that remains and in my opinion, they were observed as mountains in the middle of the great mountain
AUTHOR
Photographer of Bogota origin and nature lover, thanks to my father who took me to explore different landscapes, with each trip the desire to explore every natural corner of Colombia grew in me.
Since 2015 I decided to undertake a journey that has taken me to the corners of Colombia, seeking to capture landscapes and unique moments, each shot becomes an opportunity to interpret the world through my lens, capturing some of the best moments offered by the nature of this mega-diverse territory.
Six years later, I have traveled a large part of the Colombian territory, exploring its cultures, landscapes and biodiversity, I seek inspiration in every detail with the idea of feeling the essence of Colombia in the corners of our land and making it known the natural wonders through of my photographs.
The love for the mountains I found together with the desire for adventure, entering this branch of photography, crossing valleys, forests and mountains that show me the world of adventure to photograph and in which I get more involved with new mountain challenges.
