ENTRY DESCRIPTION
We know the roots of the word "Photography" are "photo" and "graphy", meaning "light painting”, so is it possible that photography works just look like paintings? The works in this project present images of trees in black and white inversion, sometimes like sketches, and sometimes like ink paintings, and sometimes like woodcut prints. In addition to make viewers to have a different experience of photography, I also try to create a connect of photography - a young art form, and painting - an ancient art form, to make viewers realize that they actually have the same roots.
