AUTHOR
My name is Xeniya and I was born in 1989 in north Kazakhstan in a Russian-speaking family with Polish roots to a musician and a railway worker. My adventure with photography first started when I was a teenager. I was given my first camera and would take photos of my grandparents. Since then, photography is my daily companion. In 2017 I went to the Photography School of Tricity in Gdynia, where I took the art workshop. I graduated in 2021 with the exeptional grade.

Apart from photography I am also fond of doing manual arts such as ceramics, decoupage and scrapbooking. I tend to combine manual arts with photography.

I paint emotions with light. I love to focus on details and expose the spiritual side of a human being. The most important aspect for me as a portrait photographer is the artistic impact of an image and its non-suggestive conception. I love to speak to the viewer by using deep light, high contrast and colours like from a fairy tale.

Today I can’t imagine my life without photography - it is my heart's way to talk to the world and show on my photos it's melancholy and a variety of mystery.
