A self-portrait. Remembering to shift my frame of reference in order to mentally, emotionally, and physically survive the lockdown.

AUTHOR
Stasia is an artist by nature and loves to create with her camera. Whether it’s adventure in the mountains or moody black and white portraits, she embraces it all. The poignancy of life’s fleeting nature lives deep in her soul, and she uses photographic art to render a sense of permanence.
Residing in Calgary, Alberta with her husband and two daughters has many advantages in accessing the natural beauty of the Canadian Rockies. Skiing, canoeing, and hiking are her preferred methods of exploring, and when family or friends come along they know they’ll probably end up as portrait subjects. Stasia is always striving to capture the wild in our world - people and places that aren’t easily forgotten.
