ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This portrait was taken at a photo session showing this young ballerina's talents. She had been dancing without her toe shoes, and when she took a moment to put them on, she had such an introspective look on her face. I asked to her look at me, and took this shot.

Tracy Badham is a fine art nature and portrait photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia. Combining her love of travel with her aesthetic of whimsy, drama and an ethereal quality, Tracy creates images that evoke a sense of nostalgia and romance. Her goal is to inspire those who see her work to look more carefully at the world around them and to rediscover
beauty in the usual places. 

Tracy started her photography career later in life then some of her counterparts and is completely self taught. When not working on her personal projects, Tracy also enjoys sharing her passion for photography by mentoring and teaching young aspiring photographers in her community.
