ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Taken shortly after midnight on 8 April 2021, the day before my 55th birthday. I was feeling somewhat morose, with no end in sight to the pandemic, and encountering significant issues as a university lecturer teaching online and I had put my Canon 77d on a tripod, connected it to my PC and started taking pics of myself staring at my computer monitor. I pushed the detail in post-production, more so than I would have done with any other subject (nobody else would want to see every wrinkle and pore).
