ENTRY DESCRIPTION
It was during their first dance shoot that these sweet students and best friends asked me to take an additional shot of both of them. They explained that since they mostly photographed each other, they did not have any shots of the two of them together. i was delighted to oblige.

People fascinate me. I am curious about how they think, feel, live, work and relate to the world around them. For many years I worked as a psychotherapist, using words to help people deal with their emotions, relationships and traumas.

As a photographer, my vocabulary has changed from the verbal to the visual, from words to images. I now focus on people who use their physicality, their bodies and their actions, to communicate and tell their story. The camera enables me to translate their narratives into the accessible and universal language of photography.
