ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Early 2021, Paris, I had a photo shoot for sport/fitness coaches who were acquaintances of a friend (we studied at the same University, Sports and Performance studies at Paris V) .

We were supposed to do an outdoor/street shooting in Paris, however it started raining badly.

So... I improvised a shoot in a college dorm using the black wall has a backdrop and the harshlight from the ceiling has the only light.

In the end, it was one of my best shots and experience. I fell in love with this picture. The model is very charismatic and the lower body is disapearing slowly into the darkness. Even if the light is quite harsh, I like the rendering. The hair, the pose, a little scar and this beautiful man (Franck) evoke, for me, a feeling of strenght and determination.

A tribal feeling too, almost like a lion or a panthera.

A "Black Lion" ("Lion Noir" in French) is my entry for my first monochrome awards participation. And my start as a photographer.

P.S: Sometimes things don't go as planned and the best photo shoot is the spontaneous one!
