ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Lucia and I wanted to try and make an image that was able to give the viewer as much freedom to read into the image as possible. We have a few different version's some with eye contact and some without.
I decided to enter one of the frames that did have that direct contact. Sometimes that directness just draws the view right in. The movement and soft nature of the whole image is dissected by that crisp and direct eye contact.
We used natural light, a long lens and a wide aperture to get this soft flowing yet pin-sharp image.
