ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Last summer, I visited my father's birthplace, a small, distant village in Beijing, China. While most of the residents have moved out to suburbs and cities, only a few people chose to stay. I encountered the subject, who remains as a bachelor for his entire life, has no attachment to the outside world. He smiled at me, and I captured that peaceful moment.
