ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This photo is a self-portrait. I won a National Geographic photo of the day and it was submitted into the online magazine 4/3/18. It also made the NG. best of YS photos of 2018. This photo hangs in my office. I look at it with hope and tears as it shows how much I've gone through and still going through. I've been in treatment after treatment and I can finally say that I'm in remission. It happen once before but it only lasted four months. I pray it will last longer.

I love to put a poetic voice to photos. Making photos come alive by creating motion, shadows, warm tones or contrast in black and white. I believe my photos have a statement that is poetic in flow and time. It is my passion and I hope you enjoy them as much as I have loved creating them.
