ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The “Processione dei Misteri”, which for more than 400 years has been renewed in Trapani (Sicily, Italy) for Holy Week, sees thousands of people involved: those who care for and decorate the statuary groups, those who carry them in procession, those who make clothes, those who play in the band. A great fervor precedes the day of the procession that takes place every year between Holy Friday and Saturday through the streets of the city. In Trapani it is an event expected all year round in which the sacred and the profane, the centenary rite and the popular expression typical of southern Italy merge.
AUTHOR
I work in the Graphic sector for years.
I attended photographic storytelling and editing courses and workshops held by professional photographers, and I participated in photographic workshops.
Photographer for passion, I enjoy shooting different themes and subjects, even if I prefer a design approach. For me, photography is a means of getting to know the world and myself.
