We are neighbors. by Curtis Anderson (United States)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This image is part of a larger mini portraiture series entitled: The Story I'll Tell: The Mixtape. This series points to the idea that the same story is often being told but from different directions. Stereotypes are purposeful generalizations (and often exaggerations), but God created each of us uniquely; no two people are the same, even if they are part of the same gender, race, or culture. When we lay down the role people think we should play based on what they see, love for your neighbor is not too far behind.
