ENTRY DESCRIPTION
In these times of lock downs and restricted travel, it seemed appropriate to capture this old relic of a bus, found long forgotten, going nowhere, and abandoned in a field on the outskirts of the outback town of Marree in South Australia. Marree is the junction town at the start of the famous Birdsville and Oodnadatta Tracks, both hundreds of kilometres of dirt road that connect inland outback Australia. One can only marvel at the journeys this old bus must have taken but sadly, like most of us at present, now stranded and lonely in a field of weeds.
