ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Thanks to a friend who shared a location where Great Gray Owls were sighted. We maintained enough distance from the owl to let him hunt for dinner. As the sun was setting behind me, luckily, the owl landed on a perch right in front of me, allowing me to take this photo. The light was beautiful on the owl. I did have to adjust the shadows to darken the background to render the scene I had seen/visualized in the woods.
Note: No bait was used, and enough distance was maintained from the bird.
