ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I captured this image of a giraffe and an oxpecker while on safari in The Maasai Mara on an overcast day. My intention was to post process in monochrome to create a more artistic image.
This image hasn't been cropped, I framed it this way, waiting for the giraffe to walk out the tree line for a cleaner image.

AUTHOR
Born in Darwin, Australia in 1987, I have always had a kind of fascination with the natural world and taking photos. Growing up I have had various point and shoot cameras until I saved to buy my first DSLR. I would go out to bushland near where I lived, take a photo, adjust the settings and take the same image to gain an understanding of how to use it. Fast forward a few years, I have been fortunate enough to travel and capture photos in amazing locations and I hope to share my passion for the natural world with others while raising awareness about conservation.
