ENTRY DESCRIPTION
We were waiting for sunset in the masai mara in Jan 2020, when a group of giraffes appeared to our right. I hoped that the animals would cross, because I had such an image in my head for a long time. My patience was rewarded - even with no other animals in the background. The fact that the two then lingered in this position for a moment and then both lifted their tails had exceeded my wildest expectations.
