ENTRY DESCRIPTION
An image of a lake's mountain reflection turned upside down. It is duplicated
and reversed as a negative. Shot from the opposite raised shore that is surrounded with
plant growth gives a wonderful natural design.
AUTHOR
My family immigrated to the US from Germany, I was five years old. Being a child growing up in a new country presented challenges. The challenge to most immigrants would of course be to learn a new language. I grew up in a small Central California town which allowed me to roam free. I tried to understand street names, and names in general. Learning outside of school came by visual associations which intensified my visual perception, rather than by word associations, hence my passion for photography. I tend to see things as lines, shapes, and curves.
